Antique Bolt Cranked 101mm 1547

A cranked bolt is used in a situation where the door and the door frame are not fitted flush. Instead of a staple, a cranked bolt is supplied with a flat plate which is fitted to the frame. A hole must be cut out of the frame behind the plate to house the shoot of the bolt.
