Antique Casement Fastener Wedge 1121
Antique casement fastener with a wedge plate. These fasteners are handed, please select left or right hand from the box below (left hand illustrated).

This casement fastener is fitted to the side rail of the window and is supplied with a wedge plate fixing. The wedge is fitted to the window frame adjacent to the fastener. A wedge fixing is used when the window and frame are not fitted flush and so the wedge is actually fitted sideways to the fastener. The fastener is used to pull the window closed and is then rotated until it is vertical and the wedge plate has been located under the arm of the fastener.

Their products are manufactured to authentic original patterns from MALLEABLE IRON which is stronger and more durable than cheaper alternatives made from either cast or SG iron. This product has a hammered or textured Antique Style.
