Antique Style Brass Lion Door Knocker 100mm 4896
Antique style polished brass lion head door knocker. Head measures 115x95mm and diameter of ring measures 100mm.

This door knocker consists of a large lions head back plate with a ring hinged to its mouth to form the knocker. The ring strikes a second back plate to indicate that attention is needed at the door. A door knocker can be used just for aesthetic reasons if fitted with a door bell or can be used to assist in pulling the door closed. It is fixed by means of three 6mm diameter threaded bars which pass through the door and screw into the back of the door knocker and strike. A dome nut to match the finish of the knocker is then fitted to the other end of the bar until it is flush with the inside face of the door. Useful fixing tools: 6mm wood drill.
