For doors that are required to lock or where privacy is required and you want to avoid using keys, take a look at our collection of brass thumb turns and releases. These thumb turns are used in conjunction with a set of lever on rose door handles and a bathroom mortice lock or deadbolt operated by a 5mm diameter spindle. The turn button is fitted to the inside of the door and the emergency release to the outside. They are connected to each other via a 5mm spindle which passes through the door and the lock. When the turn button is operated, the spindle rotates and activates the deadbolt, locking the door.
Our thumb turns and releases are available in either a polished brass or an antiqued brass finish. We have different styles of turn button as well as an elongated easy turn bar. With so many options available it is easy matching up to your style of door handles.
