Matt Bronze Window Furniture

When refurbishing or renovating a home, door furniture is always one of the main things that people think about. What style of door handles are we going to choose and what finish? Window furniture is often a secondary thought but can be just as important a choice. You probably would not see kitchen cupboards with mis-matched handles and knobs so co-ordinating your window furniture to your door furniture is always a good choice.

Window furniture can include all kinds of different products from casement stays and casement fasteners for wooden windows to locking handles for pvcu windows; sash rings and sash lifts for sliding sash windows to fanlight openers and fanlight catches for fanlight windows.

Imitation Bronze Casement Stays & Fasteners

As part of our imitation bronze collection we supply imitation bronze casement stays and casement fasteners. A casement stay is fitted to the bottom stile of a window and can be used to open the window to a set angle by positioning the stay over one of the casement stay pins provided. Our bronze window stays are available in different lengths to suit your needs.

We supply two types of imitation bronze casement fasteners, also commonly referred to as bronze window handles. Our non-locking bronze casement fastener is supplied with both a hook plate and a mortice plate and is for use on wooden frame windows. The window is closed using the casement fastener handle which is then turned until the small arm of the fastener is located into the receiver plate. The second option is a bronze locking casement fastener. Once the arm of the fastener is in the closed position and the keep is in place, a grub screw located in the arm is tightened. This locks the window handle in the vertical position and prevents it from being lifted and the window being opened.
