Black Antique Casement Fastener Wedge 1121

This casement fastener is fitted to the side rail of the window and is supplied with a wedge plate fixing. The wedge is fitted to the window frame adjacent to the fastener. A wedge fixing is used when the window and frame are not fitted flush and so the wedge is actually fitted sideways to the fastener. The fastener is used to pull the window closed and is then rotated until it is vertical and the wedge plate has been located under the arm of the fastener.
