This casement fastener is fitted to the side rail of the window and is supplied with both a hook plate and a mortice plate fixing depending on whether your window is fitted flush or is rebated. This fixing is fitted to the window frame adjacent to the fastener. A casement fastener is used like a handle to open and close the window.
