Door Handles
Browse our range of door handles for internal and external doors, including lever handles, handles on backplate, lever on rose handles, bathroom handles, lock handles, pull handles, uPVC door handles and multipoint door handles. Whether you are replacing existing handles or choosing new door furniture for a renovation, the right handle depends on the type of door, how it needs to work and the style you want to achieve.
For standard internal doors, latch handles are usually the simplest choice. These are ideal for rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms where the door needs to stay closed but does not need to lock. For bathrooms, cloakrooms and en-suites, bathroom door handles are designed to provide privacy when used with the correct bathroom lock or turn and release. For rooms that need key-operated security, choose lock handles that match the lock fitted inside the door.
If you are replacing existing door handles, check the current fitting before ordering. Backplate size, screw-hole positions, spindle size, keyhole position, bathroom turn position and door thickness can all affect whether a new handle will fit neatly. For uPVC and composite doors, measurements such as the PZ size, screw centres and backplate length are especially important because the handle must line up with the multipoint locking system.
Style and finish also make a big difference. Lever on rose handles are popular for modern interiors because they have a smaller, cleaner fixing plate. Door handles on backplate are often a practical choice for traditional interiors or replacement projects, especially where you need to cover marks left by older handles. Popular finishes include chrome, brass, black, bronze, nickel, stainless steel and antique-style finishes, with options to suit both modern and period properties.
Before ordering, consider what else you may need to complete the job. A standard internal door may need a tubular latch. A bathroom door may need a bathroom lock or turn and release. A lockable door may need a suitable lock and escutcheons. If you are updating several doors at once, door handle packs can be a convenient way to buy matching handles and fittings together.
Need help choosing? Our door handle buyer guides explain the main handle types, how to measure replacements, which fittings you may need and how to choose the right finish for your home or project.
