Tudor black antique iron keyhole cover with pivoting cover plate. This shield shaped design measures 30x57mm and would be fitted to protect the keyhole cut out in a door as well as preventing draughts and discouraging prying eyes. Fixing screws are included. The black powder coated surface of the Tudor Collection is suitable for interior and exterior use and is virtually maintenance free.
An escutcheon is fitted to cover and protect a keyhole that has been cut into a door. This type is a covered escutcheon that is surface fixed using woodscrews. A covered escutcheon is fitted with a separate pivoted cover plate that conceals the keyhole, protecting from the weather if fitted externally or just to discourage prying eyes.
