Howard Curved Lever Polished Brass Latch Door Handles
Howard polished brass curved lever latch handle on a shaped backplate. Used on doors that have a mortice latch and are NOT required to lock with a key. The backplate measures 171x48mm and this set is supplied complete with connecting spindle and fixing screws. These traditional door handles would typically be fitted in conjunction with a York tubular latch in a matching polished brass finish, see related items below.
Lever latch handles have a plain back plate. They are used in conjunction with either a mortice or tubular latch, which are normally 2.1/2in (64mm) or 3in (75mm) long, although longer sizes can be obtained if the handles need to be placed further in from the door edge. The handles are supplied complete with the spindle and fixing screws, but not with the latch, which needs to be purchased as a separate item, and is normally specified to have a matching finish to the handles.
